Biological activity

Fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED₅₀ as determined by a cell proliferation assay using IL-6-dependent murine 7TD1 cells is less than 0.01 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of >1.0×10⁸ IU/mg.

Formulation

Lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB, 150mM NaCl, pH 7.4，with 5% trehalose.

＜0.1EU/μg rRtIL-6 protein as determined by LAL method.

Reconstitution

Before use this product, please read the direction below carefully.

1、 This vial must be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom.

2、 Reconstitute in 10mM HCl to a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml. 

Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤-20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.

Storage/ Stability

White lyophilized powder. For long term storage, the product should be stored ≤-20℃.

36 months, -20 to -70℃ as supplied.

1 month, 2 to 8℃ under sterile conditions after reconstitution;

3 months, -20 to -70℃ under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
